A song of praise rises form within my soul, and my heart leaps with joy! I long to run after You among the trees, to walk with You along the rocky path that brings me peace. Your gentle presence whispers to my soul.
I look at the clouds and the trodden earth around me and am compelled to reach out and take Your hand.
I feel You near me, but can't find You...I can't see You here beside me as I take in the fragrance of Your grace that lightly permeates this summer evening.
The rich sunset rays cast golden beams across the fields, and I look on to where they lead, wondering if You are there. I'm standing in a familiar place, where I'm unafraid to open my heart and listen. - Unafraid to hold it out to share with You. Oh how I savor such moments as this, when I feel so careless and free...

It seems like we always have those secret little places where we can always hear God's voice so clearly. - Be it at a favourite park, beach, room in the house, friend's patio, - or even just going for a drive.
Right now a dozen little secret places are coming to my mind...
I want to encourage you to take some time today and go to your favourite spot to unwind and get real. I pray God will meet you and speak to you in a very special way today, as you look to Him! ~
